The Ladakh Messenger is the direct continuation of the Kyelang Newspaper (ཀྱེ་ལང་ཨག་བར་) in Ladakh. Missionary Walter Asboe moved from Kyelang to Leh, and changed the title of the mission’s newspaper to the previously used “Ladakh Messenger”. The newspaper was published as before in monthly frequency, in the same format and style on the lithographic press.
